Faculty & Staff

YIS’s greatest asset is its teaching staff! We have close to 90 teachers on staff, representing 14 different nationalities and tremendous collective breadth and depth of experience in international education. Over one-third of our teachers hold advanced degrees and many others are currently working towards additional qualification. Above all, our teachers love working with children and helping them to grow and develop the attributes of the IB Learner Profile to which we subscribe. We seek to inspire students and to provide them with the academic and social skills that will enable them to fulfill their human potential as responsible global citizens.

As a school and faculty, we are committed to ongoing professional development. This includes taking advantage of our own wealth of pedagogical knowledge and experience through regular in-service training, as well as leadership and participation in workshops, conferences and other training opportunities hosted by international education organizations throughout Asia and beyond. We are interested in excellent teachers who are passionate about education and are willing and able to contribute to the school and student life in a wide variety of ways.
